⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game changer for trail running – finally a vest that doesn’t move!
I’ve tried quite a few running vests over the years, and one of my biggest frustrations is how much they bounce or shift around during runs — especially on uneven trails. I recently took this vest out for a trail run around the fields in the UK, and honestly, I was so impressed.
First thing I noticed was how incredibly comfortable it is. Once adjusted, it literally didn’t move the entire run. No bouncing, rubbing or constantly readjusting straps, which made such a difference when running over uneven ground and muddy paths.
The fit is brilliant, especially as a female runner with a smaller frame. What really sets this vest apart is the extra adjustment around the lower chest/rib area, which meant I could tighten it properly for a much more secure fit. So many running vests feel loose or move around, but this one stayed perfectly in place without feeling restrictive. That adjustability made such a difference and gave it a much more tailored feel.
The storage is another massive plus — loads of pockets and plenty of room without feeling bulky. Everything has its place, and I loved having quick access to essentials while running. The front hydration pockets are really practical, and the included soft flasks are a great bonus. I could easily see this working brilliantly for longer runs, hikes, or endurance events too.
It’s lightweight, breathable and feels really well designed. Even after a decent run, it stayed comfortable and didn’t feel hot or heavy.
For the price, I genuinely think this is fantastic value. If you’re fed up with running vests moving around or struggling to find one that fits securely, especially if you have a smaller frame, I’d highly recommend giving this one a try.

Really impressive bit of kit. Trail bound have thought of everything. I know as I get more miles done with this vest I will discover even more little attentions to detail that other vests I’ve had haven’t featured. I’m always hesitant to try a new brand, especially when you rely on your vest so much, but this has nailed it. I carry a lot of bits and bobs as I over pack! But I now have perfect places to tuck away loads of kit, keys, phone etc and nothing flaps around loosely and everything now has a place. A set of flasks and an insulated sleeve for a bladder is a really addition too. Highly recommended.

I recently wore my new Trailbound running vest throughout the 230km Al Andalus Multi-Stage Ultra Trail Marathon in a rather warm Andalusia, Spain and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From day one, it felt incredibly comfortable, almost like a second skin. Even over long days carrying mandatory kit, there was no rubbing or discomfort, and the fit remained secure throughout the race.
One of the standout features was the amount of easily accessible storage. As a tall chap with fairly inflexible shoulders, being able to reach essentials without awkward twisting or stopping was a real advantage and made a noticeable difference during the event.
The vest also struck the right balance between performance and value. It delivered everything I needed for a demanding multi-stage ultra, while remaining refreshingly affordable.
